Abstract(in English) | Synchronization of neural oscillation is a crucial mechanism of integrating widely distributed neural activities. Identifying dynamic networks of neural oscillation is an important issue for understanding brain functions. Previous studies have proposed an effective statistical method to infer such networks from fluctuating rhythmic data. On the other hand, many EEG studies have reported various context-dependent multi-frequency phase couplings, which are associated with cognitive and perceptual functions. In this study, we presented an extension of the previous method to analyze multi-frequency data. Using numerically generated test data from Neural mass model, we checked the ability of our method under various situations. Finally, we also attempted to identify the multi-frequency EEG oscillator networks by applying our method to real EEG data. |
