Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | A drone is expected to make the best use in various fields, on the other hand it is pointed out the risks of abnormal uses. To prevent such risks, a drone detection technique is highly required. So far, drone detection indexes including a picture, thermography and sound have been considered. It may be, however, difficult to detect a drone by them because the detection performance is depending on an environment such a background of picture and noise. In this paper, to extend the possibility of detecting a drone, we examined the potential of drone detection by capturing Wi-Fi beacon frames that a drone, AR.Drone 2.0, broadcasts. The experiments showed the potential for detecting an appearance and an approach of a drone from the number of beacon frames and fluctuations of the signal strength. |
