Abstract(in English) We have developed a wavelength (λ-tunable 40-Gbit/s class WDM/TDM-PON system and key technologies that realizes adding various advanced functions to next generation optical access networks. In this paper, we successfully demonstrate error free λ-tunable transmission for the 40-km reach and 1024-split (maximum number) symmetric-rate 40-Gbit/s class λ-tunable WDM/TDM-PON over field installed standard single-mode fiber link that utilize our developed automatic gain controlled semiconductor optical amplifiers (AGC-SOAs) for upstream WDM/TDM burst signal amplification.
