Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (POLSAR) observation can be realized in many platforms. Many techniques have been proposed for the POLSAR data analysis. Polarization scattering component decomposition technique is the promising one among them. This technique can decompose the POLSAR data into surface, double-bounce and volume scattering components. However, the component models in the technique have many unknowns whose number is larger than the number of independent observables. Therefore several assumptions are required to obtain a unique solution. In this report, we propose a new scattering component decomposition technique by using multi-baseline dataset. The method can decompose the component without the assumptions which used in the conventional method. In this report we provide some numerical and experimental examples to show the performance of the proposed method.
