Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the pixel pitch of image sensor is approaching diffraction limit of lens, and it is impossible to improve spatial resolution substantially even if the number of pixels is increased. Thus, we have been investigating the method of improvement of spatial resolution by integration of multiple frames. Generally, the method requires high precision motion estimation. However, it is difficult to estimate motion vector precisely, because normal frame-rate images have motion blur and low correlation between frames. Therefore, we have proposed high-precision and low computational technique of motion estimation by using high frame-rate images. In this paper, we propose a low computational synthesis method of high spatial resolution by integration of high frame rate images based on high precision motion vectors obtained by our method. Moreover, we realize real-time operation on software and discuss the hardware implementation.
