A Study on OFDM/PM Scheme with Exponential Companding Technique

Abstract(in English) We have studied OFDM/PM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing over Phase Modulation) scheme for high-speed satellite communication systems. In this study, we apply several companding methods to OFDM signals to decrease the dynamic range and to increase the efficiency of OFDM/PM signal in the frequency region. As companding methods, we consider Exponnetial Companding Technique. We perform computer simulation of OFDM/PM scheme with Exponnetial Companding Technique to evaluate BER (Bit Error Rate) performances.
