| Abstract(in English) | Application Layer Multicast(ALM) is one of the major approach to deliver inter-broker messages efficiently in Pub/Sub middleware. However, since it tis difficult to grasp physical network topology from application layer, inefficient transfer paths might be chosen by ignoring the topology. One of the solutions of this issue is to optimize under layer forwarding by directly controlling network equipment. In this paper, we designed an OpenFlow Controller(OFC) which cooperates with Pub/Sub middleware using P2P Agent Platform to optimize message delivery. It constructs OpenFlow Multicast(OFM) network based on the request via Northbound API. Furthermore, we evaluated membership management overhead in OFM using prototype implementation to consider the condition for switching ALM and OFM. |
