Abstract(in English) Demands for video contents tend to be increasing yearly and quality control of video contents is supposed to become more important from the viewpoint of system resource management including network resources. QoE (Quality of Experience) is focused as quality evaluation for video contents and the image resolution, the frame rate and the quality scale are three main video quality factors. Although these quality factors effect subjective evaluation differently depending on video content categories, relationship between the quality factors and individual subjective quality evaluation (user characteristic) is not clear yet. This research purpose is to survey the degree of user characteristic distribution when the image resolution or the frame rate of video contents changes. For this purpose, we have developed an application to collect the user characteristic data and sizable data have been collected by use of the occasion of the open campus event at our university. In this manuscript, we describe the developed application, propose an algorithm to estimate the user characteristic and report the survey result.
