Abstract(in English) | Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast (ADS-B) has been introduced worldwide as a near future aeronautical surveillance system. On this ADS-B, an aircraft broadcasts extended squitter (ES) including its own position measured by Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). Based on this method, ADS-B is able to realize the advanced surveillance with high performance. However, detection probability degradation of extended squitter has been experienced in an evaluation by experiment system. It is supposed that the cause is interference with the signals transmitted by other aircraft. Therefore, we analyzed detection probability of extended squitter as a function of the number of signals as well as the signal strength. This paper describes evaluation results for detection probability of extended squitter using real surveillance data collected by the experiment system. |
