Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose a novel marker embedding method for position and pose estimation of a dynamically moving projection target for projection-based augmented reality. We assume that the projection target is output from a full-color 3D printer. The shape of a marker is designed so that it is detected even when it is printed on a non-planar surface. The reflectance of the marker is decided so that the markers become invisible by projections. The marker positions are computed by using Genetic Algorithm for stable position/pose estimation from various viewpoints. Experimental result shows that our method can estimate the position/pose of a printed projection target accurately while visually hiding the markers. |
