Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In cloud gaming, users can play games without expensive game terminals because cloud servers streamthe game video to the user terminals. On the other hand, network quality affects cloud-game quality. Therefore, quality of experience (QoE) evaluation of cloud gaming for network quality is important. Quality of experienceassessment methods for cloud gaming have been proposed in the ITU-T Draft Recommendation (P.GAME). Mul-tiple quality measures have been discussed based on quality aspects of gaming. We conducted subjective qualityassessment experiments on an role playing game by using eight quality measures including those in P.GAME, overall quality, acceptability, mobility, responsiveness, video quality, sound quality, immersion, game scores. We obtained the following results. The overall quality decreases with the increase in display-response time in cloud gaming. Mobility affects QoE more than responsiveness and media quality. The QoE of immersion is the same as that for overall quality. We found that further study is needed for game play quality. The game scores decreased due to the increase in delay. We con rmed game scores are a helpful quality measure for such games.
