Spatial post-filter estimation in environment of multiple noise with different spatial characteristics.

Abstract(in English) Beamformer and Wiener post-filter has been proposed as array signal processing technique to emphasize the target signal in noisy environment. In directional noise environment, the target signal can be emphasized by giving directivity in the direction of the target source by using beamformer. On the other hand, in diffuse noise environment,the target signal is emphasized by Wiener-post-filter applying in the beamformer output. However, In directional/diffuse noise environment, Performance of both beamformer and Wiener post-filter is reduced. In this paper, we propose a method for suppressing directional noise and diffuse noise at the same time, developing robust Wiener post-filter in diffuse noise environment using spatial cross-spectrum estimation. Using spatial cross-spectral estimation, we estimate the target signal, diffuse noise and directional noise with high accuracy based on difference in spatial characteristics of sound source.
