Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are now activeley investigated and developed for practical deployment. In fields of environmental monitoring, security, automatic meter reading, and factory control. In WSNs, synchronization and scheduling is essential for analysis of sensing data, collision avoidance, and duty cycling. Taking into account difficulty of centralized control, autonomous synchronization mechanisms using pulse-coupled oscillator model (PCO) are proposed in literatures. In this paper, we propose a mechanism to adjust the operational frequency of a WSN to the desired one to satisfy the requirements of dynamic control of the operational frequency in response to changes in a purpose and conditions of monitoring. More specifically, our mechanism changes the timer interval of a node operating with the desired frequency. Through simulation experiments, we show that selecting a node with the minimum centrality or adding a node contribute to fast and reliable control.
