Frequency Detection Method with Multi-Transversal Filters

Abstract(in English) This paper presents a novel frequency detection method using multi-transversal filters. The three multi-transversal filters in the proposed method generate intermediate signals that have amplitude coefficients related to the input signal frequency. By mutual operations using these intermediate signals, the proposed method obtains a tangent signal consists phase information of the input signal. The proposed method uses an arctangent operator to obtain the input signal frequency. Analytical results show a sufficient detection error of 1e-3 to 1e-2 without an input filter, and less than 1e-3 with the input filter.
