Abstract(in English) In this report we discuss about 79GHz-band FMCW radar for multi-purpose application. The developed millimeter wave radar employs FMCW method for short range target and its antenna has two orthogonal polarized, horizontal and vertical, for transmitting and receiving process. The oscillating device is high coherency source so that pure Doppler signal can be extracted from receiving signal. Here we describe design and developing process and show measurement results in concern with measured Doppler effect including the difference due to effect of polarization.
