Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, ad hoc networks, which are composed of only wireless mobile terminals (nodes), have attracted research attentions as a wireless technology development. In ad hoc networks, the broadcast nature of wireless communication enables multicasting that transmit same data simultaneously. In a conventional multicast routing protocols, they use a pre-established route for multicasting and a link disruption due to nodes' mobility degrades their performance since it incurs route re-establishment. In this paper, we propose a cooperative packet multicast method using route neighbour nodes, which support packet forwarding when the packet loss is occurred on the route, to obtain route redundancy and prevents it from route disconnection. Performance and effectiveness of the proposed method are clarified by computer simulation.
