Abstract(in English) Mode-locked pulse laser (optical frequency comb source) is expected to make a contribution to the ultrafast optical communication and an environmental molecular sensor. Narrow line-width light source is necessary for digital coherent optical communication and DWDM. A spectral line-width of optical comb cause to an analysis resolution of an environmental molecular sensor. All-optical-gate-based mode-locked laser we research has many valuable characteristics; continuously-variable repetition frequency and wavelength, monolithically integratable, and externally-injected seed light. In this paper, we evaluated the spectral line-width of optical frequency comb outputted from the 40 GHz pico-second all-optical-gate-based mode-locked laser using delayed self-heterodyne method.
