Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Green Multi-Technology Engineering (GMTE) Platform is a software tool showcasing a platform that addresses multi-RAT and mm-wave overlay networks. The GMTE software platform is an extension of a radio engineering tool, integrating multiple technology link adaptation metrics in order to select the most green interface to deploy in MT-Heterogeneous Networks. The platform performs multi-RAT network densification and allows the optimization of phantom cell positions and associated air interfaces using Power Efficient criterion in the Air Interface Selection and phantom cell densification. Several use cases are detailed, highlighting benefits of the software GMTE platform for multi-RAT deployments. The GMTE Platform explicitly shows the impact of LOS/NLOS link quality in the network densification as well as the phamtom cell position to enlarge radio coverage and guaranty seamless connectivity for mobile users.Use cases are turned towards Wi-Fi Hot Spot extensions using IEEE802.11 ac and ad technologies
