Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the electromagnetic wave scattering distribution measurements, it is necessary to use a large-scale equipment such as a positioner to measure exact measured position. To overcome such a difficulty, we have proposed a handy scanning radar system using the optical device "Kinect".The Kinect is capable of self-position and orientation estimation, therefore it is possible to generate a three-dimensional shape with the point group data. In this paper, in order to consider whether this system can be applied to weapons detection, we carried out electromagnetic field scattering distribution measurement experiments of a person with a kitchen knife and provide their primary results.
