Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study is to explore an analyzing method for human gait. For our study, a small IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) has assembled to measure a human gait easily. By using this small sensor unit, we try to capture gait stability patterns of healthy subjects. The gait stability has four features: symmetricity, recurrency, smoothness and fluctuation. In this paper, we focus on two features, smoothness and fluctuation. Based on two kinds of walking experiments, we discuss individual differences and equations of gait smoothness and fluctuation.
