Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we examined the communication performance between base stations using intermediate relay stations mounted on unmanned aerial vehicles to form a temporary network in the event of a disaster. A link budget analysis of the uplink and downlink was performed. The communication performance was evaluated to meet the required bit error rate for the desired data rate. The received power fluctuated when parameters, such as the distance between the base station and the aerial vehicle, were varied. The adequacy of the desired communication performance from the received power was evaluated.
