Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper discussed the effects of instructions i.e., “as quickly as possible” and “without hurrying” on heart rate (HR) and heart rate variability indices during mirror tracing task (MT) comparing the results of our previous studies. It became clear that the content of instruction affects the HR response, i.e., HR increases when MT was performed as quickly as possible, on the contrary, HR decreases when MT was done by participant’s own pace.
