Ranking model for image inpainting

Abstract(in English) A method for blindly predicting inpainted image quality is proposed in this paper. Many existing image inpainting methods need to parameter tuning. However, there is no criteria to find optimal combination of appropriate inpainting methods and parameters. Thus these setting is adjusted by trial and error with observing inpainted result. This paper proposes novel image quality prediction method for inpainted images with no ground truth. We focus on two points as below; (1) Not a quality score but a ordering is important for selecting inpainted results, (2) Continuity unnaturalness around a contour of damaged region highly affect image entire quality.
