Data input and output method for three dimensional array of magnetic bit with magnetic force microscopy

Abstract(in English) A magnetic quantum cellular automata (MQCA) is one of a promised candidate for future ultra-low power devices. Recently, the research for MQCA is shifted from two dimensional MQCA to three dimensional MQCA. To accelerate basic researches of 3D-MQCA, it is necessary to develop a digital information input method. Here, we propose and demonstrate magnetization manipulation method for 3D-MQCA with magnetic force microscopy. With this method, we can manipulate an individual magnetic layer of nano-dots. This method will accelerate basic researches of magnetic devices with magnetic multilayer such as 3D-MQCA.
