Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method has been widely used for time domain analysis of electromagnetic wave. The author has recently proposed a semi-implicit two-dimensional (2-D) FDTD method without numerical dispersion errors along a spatial direction by partially introducing the implicit Newmark-Beta method, which is famous for structural analysis, into the standard FDTD method. In this paper the semi-implicit FDTD scheme is applied into 2-D problems including electromagnetic waves propagating in a specific direction. It is demonstrated that no accumulation of the dispersion error appears in the long-range propagation problems, and also it is more accurate than the standard FDTD.
