Abstract(in English) | A novel circuit model of a single conductor transmission line is proposed to express current propagation with effect of radiation loss. In conventional circuit models, such as a distributed constant transmission line model, state variables are currents and voltages; while in the proposed model currents and charge densities are used as state variables. We express the variation of current and charge density with self-induced currents excited by electric-fields described with traveling currents from terminals considering propagation delay as well as by external electric-fields. The proposed model is implemented in one-dimensional FDTD method, and the validity is investigated by comparing the results with electromagnetic analysis when external electric-fields excite a finite-length single conductor line. |
