Numerical Calculation of the Thick Inductive Iris Using FDTD Method

Abstract(in English) In the past, we obtained the $k-beta$ diagram applying FDTD method by Floquet's theorem at the periodic structure and the computed periodic structure waveguide with thick iris.In addition, we compared the result above with the result by a general FDTD method. In this paper, we considered the particular case of one inductive iris thick enough, and compared the Modified Residue-Calculus Method with FDTD method.In this case, the cutoff characteristics of the waveguide is most obvious on sufficiently large thickness.
