Dimension Estimation of Quadrangular Dielectric Cylinders from the Surface Scattering Value

Abstract(in English) A method to estimate the size of quadrangular dielectric cylinder has been proposed from the angular electromagnetic wave scattering values. From the time domain scattering response, the surface scattering value can be extracted, and the angular variation of these value is used for the dimension estimation. This method has been tested for measuring the scattering response from quadrangular dielectric cylinders, and the validity has been discussed.
