Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The “DIMRO system” developed by author uses optical fiber sensing technologies. It is possible to measure the displacement of railroad truck both continuously and automatically. There are several measurement results in constructing structures crossing under railroad truck. Since there are also construction work under roads like underpass, the examinations to apply this system to displacement measurement of highway embankment were performed. As a result, effectiveness of this system applied on the highway embankment were confirmed.
