Abstract(in English) It becomes popular to watch video-on-demand service. We use the viewing softwares on the device when we playback video-on-demand contents. On the future video-on-demand service, users watch the contents by using various viewing softwares. But high-performance viewing software can not process, because the performance of viewing device is limited. We have proposed Cloud-Based viewing system that process viewing software on the server-side and processing result sends to the viewing device. This paper describes a prototype of Cloud-Based viewing system and experimental results. The experimental results show that the proposed method is possible to playback high-performance viewing software even at low-performance devices.
