Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Presented is an introduction to a study and practice that was carried out on idioms. Idioms are one of language’s cultural resources of inheritance that exceed translation. This idea is the result of observation and analysts from the following four details:1.Acceptance and challenges of idioms,2.The ways young people learn idioms and which idioms they like,3.Self-learning by multiple languages resources and information databases, and 4.The effect of this approach on young people's thinking. By active learning young people begin to feel the presence of idioms in a more familiar way. As a result, they can then actively use self-learning to further understand many cultures idioms.
