High-Speed Reference Beam Angle Control Technique for Holographic Memory System

Abstract(in English) We have been researching holographic data storage system (HDSS) employing angularly multiplexing recording which is capable of large capacity of Tbyte class and data transfer rate at Gbit/sec class. We developed two main methods to increase recording density. One is the RLL high-density recording method which improves the raw recording density. The other is RLL turbo signal processing method which improves the performance of error correction. We confirmed experimentally the two methods enhanced recording density up to 2.4 Tbit/in2.
