Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In CT imaging, data missing occurs due to limitations of the equipment when measuring projection data. It produces artifacts in the reconstructed image, which affects diagnosis. To achieve enough image quality, we must identify and estimate missing projection data. Applying median filter to the enormous projection data can be considered as a simple method to complement projection data. However if missing data occupies a large part of filter window, the result would not be occurred. In this research, we focus on $L_1$norm, which is insensitive to outliers. Using this approach, we aim at reducing effects of missing projection data by proposing Fault-Tolerant CT image reconstruction method.
