Abstract(in English) Recent years, the users utilizing WLAN service are increased. For this reason, the traffic congestion in radio band and decreased transmission efficiency are important issues. To solve these issues, we have ever proposed two access control schemes. One of the proposed schemes is the collision avoidance method with optimal contention window (CW) on an access point (AP). Another proposed scheme is the collision detection utilized multiple input multiple output (MIMO) transmission. We proposed improving transmission efficiency schemes on WLAN. Those schemes are decreased packet collisions and overheads. In this paper, we propose the collision avoidance with detection scheme in order to further improve the transmission efficiency. This scheme obtained very high transmission efficiency about 99.6% when number of contention terminal station is 80 at saturated environments.
