Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is mainly categorized into explicit and implicit schemes. Recently, as its intermediates, semi-implicit FDTD methods based on hybridization of implicit and explicit update equations have attracted attention. In this talk, we systematically review the conventional semi-implicit FDTD methods and their applications. Moreover, we also present the semi-implicit FDTD method with implicit magnetic field update equations proposed by the author, and its recent progress.
