Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose an evaluation method that uses Fractal dimension for the analysis of environmental sound. In previous studies, it was shown that the sense of hearing is able to identify fractal dimensions. Fractal dimension is therefore considered to be a useful parameter for the evaluation of acoustic environments. In this paper, we evaluate the sound of high-speed railway vehicle by Fractal dimension.
