Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we propose a mathematical model of a retinal network considering distribution characteristics of retinal cone cells and ganglion cells to evaluate the influence of involuntary fixation eye movements on retinal responses. We modified a conventional model which is able to reproduce the P- and M-type ganglion cells' response properties to expand its range of visual angle to $pm 30[deg]$. Simulation results suggest that microsaccades facilitate the membrane potential of whole ganglion cells regardless of the spacial frequencies of grating patterns, and as for the high-frequency patten, it is influenced by drifts and tremor within the parafoveal region.
