| Abstract(in English) | To realize the 60 GHz-band short-range wireless access system, we are focusing our attentions on the high-gain and wideband antennas. At first, 2^n×2^n (n = 1 ~ 6)-element circularly-polarized waveguide slot array antennas are realized. After the fabrication and evaluation of those antennas, they are applied to the short-range wireless access system and the system performance and reception are evaluated in detail. In addition, the wideband antennas which can cover the frequency range of 57 ~ 66 GHz are developed. On the other hand, the intersymbol interference due to the multiple-reflections between antennas or the large antenna apertures becomes an issue, especially when the large array antennas operate in their near-field regions. The beam-tilted antenna is also developed to suppress the multiple reflections. |
