Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We evaluated programmable single-flux-quantum (SFQ) logic cells based on superconducting phase-shift elements(PSEs) made of ferromagnetic patterns for fabricating programmable SFQ circuits. The features of this PSE are an adjustable phase shift amount, and a small element size. To investigate the properties of the PSE, superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) having an upper wire with PdNi ferromagnetic patterns were fabricated and evaluated. The magnetic field induced by the ferromagnetic patterns was controlled by changing the strength of a magnetic field (HFC) in a cooling process. The 2 of the phase shift was obtained by applying 400 A/m of HFC. An AND/OR programmable logic gate was designed and tested. The measurement results of the logic gate showed good agreement with the simulation results. We confirmed that the logic function became switchable by applying HFC.
