Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Air traffic controllers ensure safe and efficient air traffic flow, responding constantly changing conditions including traffic situations and weather conditions. Such "dynamic safety" in Air Traffic Control (ATC) has different aspects from traditional safety defined as a static condition such as "freedom from unacceptable risk". In this paper, the summary of authors' research for the visualization and analysis of the processes of air traffic control tasks is presented. Based on the findings of the research, the characteristics of dynamic safety in ATC are discussed.
