Abstract(in English) In our hospital, inpatients of the elderly people exceed 60 %, and we make the excretion care for the importance on their ADL. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect for a diagnostic ultrasound imaging system for the bladder. The dysuria patient has residual urine after the bladder catheterization removal. The imaging system measure the patient’s residual urine. We constructed a hospital organization of excretion care committee, and then a committee (a doctor, a nurse, and medical staff) prepared an excretion care manual. This committee and the manual was enabled all nursing staff to measure the residual urine.
