User Identification Based on Touch Operation on Android Device

Abstract(in English) To authenticate using behavior-based features of touch operation on smartphone, we have previously performed experiments for 20 subjects using an application developed on Android devices to get fingers history of touch operation. The history was divided into 6 gestures of swipe and pinch, and the basic 3 features were extracted for each gesture. The results showed that there were high false rejection rates except pinch-out operation. In this study, we carry out user identification increasing the number of subjects and adding features of touch operation. From the results, although the correctly classified rate deteriorates for 40 subjects, the rate is dramatically improved using 8 features.
