| Abstract(in English) | Basketball video analysis has many commercial applications and hasattracted great attention in recent years. With the assistance ofadvanced object-detection and tracking techniques developed in thepast few years, efficient and effective player tracking andidentification have become a reality. Under these circumstances, todevelop a fully automatic basketball video analysis system that cananalyze the interaction among players or the scoring process becomespossible. An automatic basketball video analysis system has manypotential applications. For example, it can provide better servicesby automatically generating some video segments that highlight starplayers. In addition, the coaching staff of a team can employ suchtechniques to calculate the statistics of players, to analyze thestrength and weakness of competitors, and to review the team itself. In this talk, I will introduce the developed system in details. |
