| Abstract(in English) | Wireless traffic expansion is expected due to various cloud services utilizing smart devices, and big-data handling services collaborated by sensor devices. To meet this trend, a new access network architecture is introduced in which both optical access and wireless access are converged. By using this, flexible and quick on-demand response, and resilient operation at serious disasters can be achieved. Moreover, some key optical devices to realize this access network are discussed. |
