Abstract(in English) | Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is an imaging technique with cell-level resolution. OCT with swept light source (SS-OCT) has attracted attention in terms of high-speed imaging in particular. We have developed a swept light source equipped a Littman-Metcalf external cavity with KTa1-xNbxO3 (KTN) deflector operating at 200-kHz repetition rate in a 100-nm scanning range centered at 1.05 μm. We set up an SS-OCT system consisting of the swept light source, an interferometer, and signal processing unit. Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of an OCT image is one of important performance indicator of the OCT system. In this paper, we describe how SNR can be increased by improved accuracy of rescaling processing that is a kind of waveform shape. Experimental results also confirm the improvement. |
