Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The tap task means that the subject observes a moving target and touches a computer display to stop it when the target enters a specified area on a computer display. In previous study, we were able to verify the effects of the training and learning by evaluating cognitive function using the button-press task to be stopped by pushing the button. In this study, we developed a tap task of using a tablet. And we examined error data for 130 persons, including developmental disabilities and dementia elderly from 4 years old to 98 years old. As a result, the tap task showed that it can supplement the conventional evaluation method of developmental disabilities and dementia in evaluating the function of the perceptual motor coordination.
