Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Mode-evolutional serial branching mode multi/demultiplexer for homogeneous coupled multi-core fiber was demonstrated. The mode multi/demultiplexer was made of polymer materials. The selective four mode excitation was observed from Near-field pattern. Owing to the mode-evolutional principle, low crosstalk of less than -15dB and small wavelength dependence were realized within the CL-band.
