Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The complex network structure realizes various functions in biological neuronal systems. The investigation of the signal flows in neuronal networks is one of the effectual method to investigate these functions. Each single neuron in the biological neuronal systems consists of multiple inputs and a single output. It is difficult to measure all input flows at once because the neuron has a huge number of inputs in general. However, it is comparatively easy to measure the single output by recent measurement techniques. In this study, we show the method to estimate the time sequence of total sum of the neuronal inputs by using measured time sequence of neuronal output. In our method, the simple spiking neuron model that had been proposed by Izhikevich is used. The parameters of the model and the input sequence is estimated so as to provide similar output sequence to the measured output sequence. In this method, the genetic algorithm is used for the estimation. In the simulations, our method is tested using artificially generated output time sequence data. The simulation results show the characteristics of our method, and we discuss the performances and potentialities of our method.
