Abstract(in English) Optical fiber cable transfer have recently increased with expansion of optical fiber network. Optical signal monitor is used to verify the optical fiber cable transfer has been done correctly. We have studied local light detection technique to monitor signals at optical fiber cable transfer construction site. This paper studies monitoring upstream signals from 4-fiber ribbon in upper part of 8-branch optical splitter with the local light detection technique.
