Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | An analytical method for generating acoustically bright and dark zones at arbitrary horizontal positions using a linear loudspeaker array was proposed. This method is based on the spatial Fourier transform and models sound pressures at the control line as a rectangular window corresponding to bright and dark zones. It is widely known that a rectangular window contains sidelobes. To improve the previous proposed method with high dynamic range, this paper introduces a cosine window, which contains less sidelobes, for modeling sound pressures instead of a conventional rectangular window. Computer simulation results show that the proposed method using a cosine window can control sound field more accurately than that using a simple rectangular window. In addition, a linear array of 64 loudspeakers was actually implemented and the measurement results show that the proposed methods outperform the conventional energy difference maximization method. |
